What can I expect?

Austin Arts Academy is dedicated to helping our students develop a lifelong passion for learning and creating. Our classes are fun, engaging, and a move-at-your-own-pace style for students of all ages and abilities. When you sign up for classes, we’ll provide a detailed email with all the books, supplies, and instruments/materials needed.

What if I miss a class or lesson?

Your spot in class is held just for you each week, but we understand that emergencies or illnesses can happen. You can join another class if there’s a seat open, to makeup your missed time with us.

For private lessons, we graciously offer two makeup credits per semester - to be scheduled with your private lesson instructor.

Do you host recitals?

Yes! Austin Arts Academy recognizes sharing music, art, and dance with others is a wonderful gift to give! We host recitals every April and December and encourage students to participate in at least one recital yearly. Registration for recitals is available through the online calendar at AustinArtsAcademy.com (student login). Recital fee is $39/student.

How do I pay for lessons?

Invoices are emailed out at the beginning of every month. You can make a safe and secure payment online using PayPal, debit card, or credit card. You can login to the student portal and leave card on file that will be auto-billed on the first of every month.

Austin Arts Academy Off-Campus Fine Arts Credit: Music & Art

 
  • Ask your school counselor / apply at your school for off-campus fine arts credit through Austin Arts Academy. 

  • We will provide necessary documentation to your school once you have been approved for off-campus credit

  • Every grading period, attendance is taken and pass/fail grade is recorded, or an alpha-numeric grade is recorded, depending on school requirements. 

  • An hour lesson is held each week with an instructor. Lessons can be held virtually or in-person. 

  • Required performance in Christmas and Spring recitals (virtual recording submission or in-person performance for musicians; art gallery submissions for artists). Student will perform a minimum of two songs or display four major pieces of art at recital/showcase. 

  • Students must log daily practice minutes to fulfill school requirements
